The above process of removing air bubbles and tamping concrete is concrete vibrating.

When selecting a concrete vibrator, the vibration parameters and structural dimensions of the concrete vibrator must be reasonably selected according to the nature and construction conditions of the concrete.

Classified by the method of transmitting vibration

There are three types of internal vibrators, external vibrators, and surface vibrators.

1)Internal vibrator-also known as a plug-in vibrator. When working, the vibrating head is inserted into the concrete, and its vibration wave is directly transmitted to the concrete. This kind of vibrator is mostly used for vibrating thick concrete layers, such as bridge piers, abutment foundations, and foundation piles. Its advantages are lightweight, convenient movement, and wide use.

2)External vibrator-also known as an attached vibrator is a motor with a vibration effect. A special bottom plate is installed on the bottom of the machine. The bottom plate is attached to the template during operation. The vibration generated by the vibrator The waves are transmitted to the concrete indirectly through the base plate and the formwork. This kind of vibrator is mostly used in the construction of thin-shell components, hollow slab beams, arch ribs, T-shaped beams, and other places. According to the needs of construction, in addition to the attachment type, there is also a vibration table for the external vibrator, which is used to vibrate the concrete pre-product. The pre-product installed in the template is placed on the table connected with the vibrator, and the vibration wave generated by the vibrator is transmitted to the concrete pre-product through the table and the template.

3)The surface vibrator is placed directly on the concrete surface, and the vibration wave generated by the vibrator 2 is transmitted to the concrete through the vibrating base plate 1 fixed with it. Since the vibration wave is transmitted from the surface of the concrete, it is called a surface vibrator. When working, two people hold the handle 4 of the vibrator and drag it according to the needs of the work. It is suitable for the construction of concrete roads and bridge decks with small thicknesses.
